Since a lot of people have been moving to bigger cities, the need for residential places like apartment complexes is much needed. Alongside that, a lot of large buildings and commercial sites get built as well, leading to a lack of residential spaces. Not only that, but a lot of competitors will be surfacing to help accommodate people who are planning to move into the city.

With the market growing and competitions getting intense, the need for creativity and good marketing is necessary to rake in more tenants. That said, a lot of richly styled apartment buildings are erupting to entice more tenants to live in these complexes. Here are five prime examples of creative apartment buildings found all over the world.

Interlace

Located in Singapore and built by architect Ole Scheeren, the apartment building called the Interlace has a unique style of its own. The bland vertical towers, commonly used for mass housing made by the local government, are stacked horizontally instead of upright.

Not only that, but the units are stacked in a criss-cross fashion, with the purpose of providing the residents a better quality of life. Each of the apartment units varies in size, as well as the building complex having an Olympic sized swimming pool inside the premises.

Nakagin Capsule Tower

If you have seen the film “The Fifth Element,” starring Mila Jovovich and Bruce Willis, you might remember the scene where Khorben and Leeloo slept inside a capsule. Well, the Nakagin Capsule Tower took inspiration from that concept.

The design was made by Kisho Kurokawa and is said to represent the "Japanese Metabolism." This apartment building is an excellent example of capsule architecture. Unfortunately, only 30 of the 140 of the tower is inhabitable, and that was way back in 2010.

River House

Back in 1931, a 26 story apartment building was erected. It was said to have set a new standard of luxury and quality of life around the area. The River House is one of the tallest buildings in the place. With a yacht mooring and private tennis court, you can feel the luxury of living in such a high standard apartment complex.

The Wave

Located in Denmark, precisely in the southeast of the Jutland Peninsula, an artistic building stands proud for the world to see. The Wave is a scene-stealer among the other buildings because of its uniqueness and creativity.

The magnificent apartment complex is created by the Henning Larsen Architect. The building won a prize back in 2003 because of its unique aesthetic that compliments the seaside well.

Although it might appear a bit weird the longer you look at it, the living space is actually quite luxurious. Each unit has a glass facade that allows light to come through the room and a window that presents a magnificent view of the sea. The sloping walls inside the building provide comfort and a sense of privacy among the tenants.

VM Houses

Sometimes called the “VM Apartments,” VM Houses is a project made by the JDS Architects and the Bjarke Ingels Group. If you look at it, the sight can be quite confusing due to the protrusions coming from each of the units located inside.

The main purpose of the design is for privacy. The protrusions themselves can block a tenant's view of another tenant's private spaces. Overall, there are 209 units in the building and is a magnificent place to live in.

Lily Garden

If you have been to Australia and are interested to Buy Melbourne Apartments, surely you must have heard of the Richmond area where the Lily Garden resides. The place is near the Victoria Garden Shopping Centre and Bridge Road and is a low rise development project surrounded by a quiet neighborhood.

The building is made up of small buildings and shares a communal garden. There are also other facilities located on the premises such as a gym and a cinema for entertainment purposes.

The first to be released in the apartment complex is building C. All of the buildings in the complex contain 20 units and come with a parking space. If you want a three-bedroom unit, you can register for it in building D, which also has a great view among the other residential areas.

Each unit also comes with European appliances and oak timber flooring. With amazing finishes, stone benchtops, and signature tapware, living in this apartment complex would give you a remarkable home experience.

Takeaway

A lot of people have been moving to urban areas to enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life. However, looking for an apartment is never easy. With so many choices to choose from, the units you come across are all enticing and pleasant. Each apartment has its beauty, and it only takes a simple view of the place to see its true worth, especially in terms of creativity and innovation.
