Watching movies or seasons in your comfort zone without going outside is a new type of luxury in the present situation where everyone is trying to enjoy Netflix with coffee and popcorns. One of the best methods to improve the movies watching experience with grandeur and comfort is to set up a home theater system.

While talking about setting up a cinema at your home, we can’t ignore the comfort of setting a theater in the living room. However, setting a home cinema in the living room requires artistic skills and some funky ideas. Therefore, we are here to help you. Here is how you can set up a home cinema in your living room like a pro:

Things required to set up a theater at home:

Television:

A simple and small television will not work here at all. You will need a full-screen, big & fat TV or a projector to build an elegant cinema in the living room because the living room isn’t a small space. Selecting a huge TV screen isn’t enough. You also have to consider some facts like the audio and video quality of the TV. Moreover, the placement of the TV is another important thing to consider while setting up the cinema. You can mount it on the wall or place it on the table. However, make sure the screen is visible to every corner of the room and is big enough to enjoy a perfect movie night with your friends and family.

Sound system:

Seeing a high-quality video with little to no audio is like having a mobile phone with a dead battery. Soundbars are the best and most economical choices for setting up a cinema because they don’t cost much but they can provide an immersive soundstage. There are good passive soundbars in the market that are pretty popular among those who have a cinema setup in their homes. If you choose a midrange one, features like WIFI, Bluetooth connectivity, and voice control are some of the common features you’ll find. Just note that the placement of the soundbar is crucial so it delivers equal sound to everyone.

Designing the room:

After selecting the right sound system and screen, the next step is to set up the room. You can change the wallpaper or the curtains of the living room. For example, you can select red or black color to give a cinematic effect to the room. Place recliners and comfortable sofas to complete the setup. You can also place various mattresses together in the shape of a huge bed. It completely depends on your comfort level and choice.

Setting up a cinema in your living room is the most fun thing to do. After setting up everything, when you watch your favorite movie with your favorite people, you’ll surely have an immersive and enjoyable experience.
