t’s that time of year when homeowners are anxiously awaiting the arrival of warmer temperatures so they can get outdoors and enjoy their garden. With that said, it’s also a great time to check out all the latest trends and styles for the garden, giving you plenty of inspiration when it comes to décor and style. There’s no need to embrace every single trend; instead, you can pick one or two that will work with your existing design and layout. Here are some of the hottest garden trends.

Embrace Jewel Tones for the Colour Palette

When deciding which annuals to plan this year, you may want to base it on the colour palette. This year's trending garden colour palette is jewel tones, which can include pops of purple, orange and red. What's great about jewel tones is that they play beautifully off each other, so a mixture of colours is perfect. It will make the garden appear cheerful, welcoming, and elegant. To help create cohesion, you can carry the colour palette into other outdoor elements such as chair cushions, outdoor dishes, garden umbrellas, and so forth. You can incorporate jewel tones in several creative ways.

Bird Watchers Rejoice - the Birdbath is "The" Garden Item

If you're going to pick up any garden item for 2023, let it be the birdbath. These are making a huge comeback, much to the delight of bird watchers. Not only do they act as décor in the garden, but they will also attract a wide array of bird species. This adds a sense of nature, relaxation and interest to your garden. It can be incredibly peaceful to sit in the back garden, quietly watching the birds land at the birdbath to drink and splash around. What’s great about a birdbath is that it doesn’t create the mess that bird feeders can. The birdseed they drop and scatter can create quite the disaster, and also attract unwanted creatures.

Stylish New Garden Furniture Is a Must

This is a trend that pops up every year. Stylish new garden furniture breathes life into your garden and helps to make it more functional and welcoming. When shopping for an outdoor chair for the garden, focus on the material used, the style and how durable it is in terms of withstanding the weather. These same tips can be applied to other items such as a garden table, loungers and so forth. If you're on a tight budget, you can use these discount codes Vidaxl. You can always focus on the main furniture items, and then as the budget allows, pick up additional pieces later.

If you’re itching to update your back garden, each of these trends will make it possible to add some life and style to the outdoors this year. Don’t forget to add your bit of creativity to the trend to give it a unique vibe.
