Tillberg Design of Sweden has an opportunity for an exterior designer to join its team in Höganäs, Sweden.

Qualifications

• Two-plus years of experience in exterior design
• Five-plus years of some experience in work with 3D design like transportation or industrial design
• Great insight into the cruise industry
• Open for travelling
• Being able to jump between projects/multitask
• Having a friendly approach and being a team player
• Knowledge of cruise building and rules and regulations for it
• Excellent English language, spoken and in writing and good communication skills
• Hand sketching
• Layout planning
• 3D modelling in Rhinoceros
• V-ray for Rhino or 3ds Max
• Twinmotion and Keyshot
• Visual creation skills
• Archicad, AutoCAD,
• Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and other presentation tools
• Office 365
• Experience in collaboration with yard
• Knowledge of production techniques
• Understanding of cruise vessels GA
• Wide style portfolio and interest in creative GA design

Responsibilities

• Developing design solutions for primarily the cruise segment, large cruise ships, liners and cruise yachts of different styles and sizes
• Being in contact with the clients’ representatives for briefs, and presentations, being in contact with the builder; involvement in the whole design process from initial client meetings and sketches to, detail models and drawings to builder meetings and onsite inspections.
• Design coordination together with the project team
• Being a part of the GA studio, where you willingly share your experience and learn from others
• Creating sketches, layouts, 3D modelling, and detail drawings
• Create visualisations and presentations
• Briefing and cooperation with external visual artists
• Other similar tasks, usually performed by designer
• Check turn-key and builder drawing
• Have freedom in proposing design solutions, the daily work
