Job Overview

Ricardo Zurita Architecture & Planning/RZAPS is a collaborative, award-winning firm with a focus on projects that enliven public life in the city.

Our projects include new buildings, renovation, open spaces, and interiors. Our mission is to develop unique, process-driven designs in collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders including private clients, public agencies, and community groups. We are currently one of the 20 firms selected by NYC DDC for the Project Excellence Program.

We are looking for the next key player in our dynamic design team: an Intermediate Design Architect with 5-8 years of experience able to undertake a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The position provides opportunities for accelerated professional growth with a range of project types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (5-year) or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• Experience with Construction Documents
• Computer Drawing Skills including BIM (ArchiCAD a plus), AutoCAD, and visualization software, including Rhino
• Enthusiasm for following projects into construction
• Professional Licensure a plus
