Qualifications

Candidates for this position should have the following qualifications:

• Professional degree in architecture and 3+ years of related experience
• Fully competent in all conventional aspects of architecture
• Early to intermediate regulatory experience (Zoning and Building Code)
• Experience providing technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff
• Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
• Experience with consultant coordination
• Early to advanced competency with drawing set preparation
• Advanced drafting software skills and presentation and graphic communication skills
• Comfortable preparing reports, project specifications, and compiling/analyzing relevant data
• Coordinates with senior staff, Project Management, other architectural staff, and consultants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Rhino, Sketchup, and Revit
•  Lives in the New York City area and is available to work immediately
