Studio UNLTD is currently seeking a qualified Junior Interior Designer to assist with a variety of restaurant/ hospitality projects. This position is in person at our studio in Los Angeles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior and/or lighting design from an accredited institution.
- Must have 1-3 years’ work experience, with at least one of those years in hospitality design preferred.
- Exhibit strong design/ concept ability.
- Experience in developing construction documents, including detailing.
- Demonstrate attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly & professionally.
- Must be flexible to work independently and as a team.
- Experience with FF&E & material selection
- A strong interest in and understanding of concepts in architectural lighting is a bonus.
Skills
Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Sketchup & Hand Sketching. Experience in 3D rendering, such as V-Ray and Enscape, are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Designers from concept through construction administration.
- Work closely with project team, consultants, and contractors.
- Source FF&E and finish materials and create specifications.
- Attend site visits
- Prepare client presentations through the use of In-Design
- Prepare FF&E Budgets
- Prepare custom furniture documentation
- Assist with construction documentation via Revit or CAD
