There are various reasons why people move into a new place. Some of the common reasons include the pursuance of a job opportunity, a better community, a bigger space, and access to better education. Whatever it may be, better opportunities like these make most people decide to move to a new and unfamiliar place—even if it would entail leaving an established community and friends they have made an emotional bond with over time.

The latest numbers show that the southern part of the United States, specifically Florida, received an influx of domestic migration, and Californians are the highest movers in numbers. In contrast, southerners prefer a change in temperatures, and many chose Denver.
