Denia is a small and charming city located in Costa Blanca and belongs to Alicante. What used to be a central trading hub in the past has now become a desired destination for family holidays. This opens new possibilities for investors that want to secure a stable income.  With 20 km of sandy beaches, easy aces, and excellent infrastructure, buying a property in Denia is a smart financial decision.

Geographic information

Denia is a small city with 42,794 residents. It has an excellent geographic location, which creates the perfect conditions for a mild climate. Located at the foot of Montgo mountain, which borders the west part of the city. The port of Denia was the central trading hub, which led to economic expansion. Later, this was replaced by tourism, which became the primary industry in the city. No wonder, as there are 20 km of powdery sandy beaches that attract a lot of visitors. 

The city has an excellent location, as it is connected with ferries to the Balearic Islands. Also, Barcelona and Valencia are easily reachable by train. 

The main characteristic of property in Denia

There are fewer high rise buildings in the area. Most of the buildings come in a maximum of five floors. Tourists can easily reach the beach on foot, no matter where they are accommodated. The maximum walking distance would be 15 minutes. 

Les Marines is the northern part of the city, with low-rise buildings and many restaurants and cafes. There is a lovely beach in the area, perfect for family holidays.

The southern part has stunning luxurious villas with swimming pools and gardens. The distance to the beach is only 2 km, and the crystal clear waters are perfect for exploring the underwater world.

The mesmerizing beaches have the Blue Flag, the most prestigious award for beach amenities and water quality. They are equipped with showers, cabins, and umbrellas for rent. Also, they are surrounded by cafes and restaurants for convenience. 

Les Marines area has a few lovely beaches:

  • Les Devices with about 4 km of powdery sand. 
  • L'Almadrava, the most amusing beach in the area with 2.9 km. It has water slides and water entertainment options. 
  • Les Marines with 2.7 km.
  • Punta del Raset that stretches over 600 m.
  • Albaranes Forest with a modest 500 m.

South of the port, Les Rotes offers an excellent diving experience with the rocky pebble beaches. Tourists usually go to Marietta Casiana, Punta Negra, El Trampoli, and others.
