Sewing can be quite fun, as long as you have the right equipment. A century ago, it was quite common for people to manufacture clothes according to their own fit. Today, clothing brands do this for us. Making your own clothes may require a lot of time and effort.

However, the final result will probably be of better quality than what you can buy in a retail shop. If you are interested in doing this, investing in the proper equipment is a must. That is why we have prepared a list of the best fabric cutting machine offers, highlighting the pros and cons of each product. Let’s take a look.

If you are interested in getting the best value fabric cutting machine, then this one is a great choice. It comes from a trusted brand and is made suitable for a beginner. It will allow you to maximize the potential while minimizing your effort. What we love the most is that it is perfect if you are always on the go and want to take this machine with you!

The AccuQuilt brand is known for offering premium crafters and cutters. Additionally, they manufacture an array of fabric dies that are compatible with this machine. Not only do they strive to offer great value products, but they also offer a one-year warranty for all defects. As for this particular cutter, we will start off with its dimensions.

It weighs just above 29 pounds and measures 19 x 18 x 6 inches when open and 19 x 6 x 11 inches once closed. What we love the most about this cutter is the efficiency that it offers. After testing it, we confirmed that it can cut up to six layers of fabric at the same time. Furthermore, it doesn’t require a lot of experience in order to be used.

Eliminating almost any effort, you will be able to use this cutter for hours without feeling any arm strain. Still, we are not satisfied that studio fabric cutting dies aren’t compatible with this cutting machine. However, all other dies that are offered by AccuQuilt can be used along with this product.

The best thing about the GO! Big is that it is so easy to transport and fold once you are not using it. This will allow you to travel and always have a reliable cutting machine on hand. As for the warranty, you can register the machine on their official website and get 1.5 years for all manufacturer’s defects. While the price could be somewhat lower, we are still fascinated by the efficiency of this product. Overall, this is a great choice for any DIY enthusiast!

  • Compact design
  • Portable and foldable
  • Easy to use
  • Up to six layers
  • Good warranty

  • Doesn’t support Studio Fabric dies
  • Pricey for most people

Moving on with our list of the best fabric cutting machine offers, we have one that is ideal for people on a tight budget. Much like the aforementioned item, it offers die-cutting and is just perfect if you are a beginner!

This product is nowhere as precise as the AccuQuilt. However, it still does a good job when it comes to cutting through different materials. The first thing we want to talk about is its weight. Significantly lighter, at only 7.5 lbs., this machine is quite easy to transport from one place to another. As for the dimensions, we are looking at 14.25 x 12.25 x 6.8 inches. This allows it to cut materials that are up to 6 inches in width.

What we are most satisfied with is that it supports Bigz, Framelits, Thinlits, and Impresslits dies and embossing folders. As far as accessories go, you are going to get a multipurpose platform and a single pair of cutting pads. What you should understand is that it can’t cut through multiple layers at a single time. However, for the low price that it is coming at, you shouldn’t expect that in the first place.

Both the die-cutting and embossing process is quite smooth and shouldn’t leave you with a sore arm/hand. We are quite happy to see that they offer a 3-year guarantee if you register the machine on their website. Considering the features above, it is safe to say that you will be getting more than what you pay for!

  • Sturdy and strong
  • Portable and foldable
  • Easy to use
  • Compatible with different dies
  • Good warranty

  • Can’t cut multiple layers
  • Not as precise as similar products

Last but not least is this mid-range product that is incredibly efficient considering its size. The low-profile design allows it to keep quiet and stay efficient. Meanwhile, it is compatible with a number of dies and embossing folders.

Looking at the innovative design, this product will look great at your desk or station. The best thing about it is you can take it wherever you want. Additionally, it is quite simple to use and ensures multiple crafting possibilities. You are probably thinking that it can only go through certain fabrics, considering its 6 x 8.9-inch platform. Well, you are wrong. It can cut through thicker materials, including vinyl, foil, and cardstock.

As for what you are getting, there are a couple of cutting platforms, an embossing mat, and a 3D folder. You will also get a set of dies and a plastic shim, as well as a user’s guide instructing you on the whole process. It weighs 15.2 lbs and will pass through a single layer of fabric in less than 16 seconds.

Still, we have to say that it is not perfect for cutting multiple layers of embossed folders at a time. Additionally, we would like it better if the plastic platforms were of better quality. Other than that, this is a superb machine that will make the cutting process a breeze!

  • Compact design
  • Portable and lightweight
  • Easy to use
  • Compatible with different dies
  • Incredibly efficient

  • Not for multiple layers
  • Flimsy plastic platform

Final Verdict

It all comes down to what your specific needs are, as well as how big of a budget you have. If you are more flexible, then investing in the AccuQuilt cutting machine is a great choice. Otherwise, we suggest the Gemini machine as the perfect choice for people looking to get a budget-friendly cutter and embosser!
